Anna Lynett, Fashion

Anna Lynett is a printmaker and apparel designer based in downtown Los Angeles. She was born in Heidelberg, Germany and raised in the great state of Wisconsin. In 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. A self-taught fashion designer, her first projects were borne out of an impulse to supplement her wardrobe and quickly grew into a fully developed collection. In 2009, the strength of Anna’s earliest work landed her a spot as a designer on Season 7 of Project Runway. She currently keeps her love of contemporary art alive as a printer at Gemini G.E.L. and can be found designing garments and drawing cityscapes in her studio most of the time.
